Note 1 - Teams do not play a balanced schedule. MSSL's primary consideration in 2005 is to provide teams with a high level of competition on those weeks that a given team participates, for player development and conditioning purposes. Above standings are utilized to qualify teams for MSSL Cup playoff consideration. Note 2 - Points are based on three points for a win plus one point for a tie, less one point for a loss. Acknowledging the unbalanced schedule, this points system rewards teams that participate regularly in league games, and achieve a positive result in the games played. MSSL CUP - U23 MENS 2005 The MSSL Cup will be contested on the weekend of July 30-31 at Piscataway, NJ. Group play (three 60 minute games) will be conducted on Saturday July 30. Semi-finals, consolation game and final (70 minutes) will be conducted on Sunday July 31.								MSSL values its ability to provide games for its members throughout the summer, at a time of year when ensuring bona fide competition week in and week out can be problematic. As Cup play removes a team from the weekend league schedule, we provide this chart to accurately reflect games played. "Cups" includes games at U23 Regional Finals, U20 Regional Finals and MSSL Cup playoffs. Games thru Saturday July 30.
