MAPS / MSSL 2006 SPRING CHALLENGE

 

 

When:            March 18 & 19, 2006 - Girls

                        March 25 and 26, 2006 - Boys

 

Ages:             Under 9 through Under 19

                               

Where:          Rider University, Lawrenceville NJ  -  Girls

                        Greenbranch Park, Pittsgrove NJ  -  Boys

 

Format:         Three game guarantee. 

U15 & Older               35 minute halves

U11 – U14                 30 minute halves

U10 & Younger          25 minute halves

 

Who:              Applications are invited from duly registered Boys and Girls teams.  Passes from all national governing bodies accepted. The Tournament Committee has authorized a maximum of five guest players.  There will be no exceptions to team and player requirements.  

 

To Enter:      Complete the online application entry form accessed from the Tournament Homepage, and mail a printed copy of either your online entry form or your email application confirmation, together with a  $375 check for U11 & Older teams or with a $325 check for Small-Sided teams at U10 & younger made payable to

Application Deadline:       Entries should be received by February 10, 2006. Payment must be received to complete the application process. Teams should inquire after that date if remaining space is still available before applying, or ask to be put on a waiting list.

 

General Information:  

 

The Spring Challenge is designed for competitive club teams.

 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE.

 

Weather and other uncontrollable conditions:         

In the event of modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on format change and the amount of refund, if any, is final.

 

 

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS

 

1.       Provide as much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent records, participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in recent major tournaments, etc. 

 

2.       Please advise us of the structure of competitive leagues in your state organization.  Feel free to attach a clarifying statement.

 

3.       The requested information is usually as important for flighting and scheduling purposes as it is for acceptance, so do provide the information carefully.

 

4.       The tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials and club officials to confirm and obtain additional information about applicants.
