We have reserved a block of rooms to meet our showcase
& premier event needs throughout the year, even at times that rooms are
scarce in the area. However, in order to maintain our relationships with
these lodging venues, we do need to ensure that reserved room blocks are
utilized. We appreciate your cooperation with our booking policies. Rooms are at low rates, and many hotels offer amenities
geared towards teams such as early morning continental breakfasts and group
discounts on team meals. See hotel and lodging information on website. Acceptance: Acceptances for competitively qualified teams will
be made on a rolling basis. NO
REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE. Competitive
Flights: Teams will be primarily organized into round-robin
flights with consideration for competitive levels and geographic diversity
within the flight. Teams should provide clear information regarding
their competitive level (tournament participation, league play, national and
regional rankings, ODP and select players on their roster, etc.) Merely
indicating that a team wishes to be placed in the “Most Competitive” bracket
will be insufficient to assure such placement, as history indicates a
majority of teams applying claim such status. The decisions of the Competition
and Scheduling Committee in creating such flights is final. Weather
and other uncontrollable conditions: In the
event of modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on
format change and the amount of refund, if any, is final. *************************** IMPORTANT
POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS Provide
as much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent records,
participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in recent major
tournaments, etc. Please
advise us of highly competitive leagues in which the team participates. For example, many teams play in MAPS
Flights of CJYSA that have selective entry criteria and strong competition. The
tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials
and club officials to obtain additional information about applicants. |
