Your Team to Submit Entries For The MAPS / MSSL 2009: THE
SPRING CHALLENGE

Boys Format: Three game guarantee. U15
& Older 35 minute
halves 11 v 11 U11
– U14 30 minute
halves 11 v 11 U10
& Younger 25 minute
halves 8 v 8 Who: Applications are invited from duly registered Boys
and Girls teams. Passes from all
national governing bodies accepted. Foreign teams are invited. The Tournament
Committee has authorized a maximum of five guest players. There will be no exceptions to team and
player requirements. To Enter: Complete the online application
entry form accessed from the Tournament Homepage, and pay by credit card
online. Fees are $595 for U11 & Older teams and $425 for Small-Sided
teams at U10 & younger.

requested by February 15, 2009. Qualified
teams will be accepted on a rolling basis. Teams applying late may be put on
a waiting list. Payment must be received to complete the application process.
Lodging: This is a "stay-to-play" event. If your
team will not be "day-tripping", it must arrange lodging through
Titan Lodging LLC. Contact Travel Coordinator Linda at linda@titanlodging.com. (Titan Lodging
has reserved rooms for MAPS & MSSL events throughout the year, including
dates when housing is in short supply. If these rooms are not consistently
utilized, we will not have the cooperation of the hotels when we most need
them. So we appreciate your cooperation with this required policy.) General Information: The Spring Challenge is
designed for competitive club teams. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE. Weather and other
uncontrollable conditions: In the event of
modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on format
change and the amount of refund, if any, is final. IMPORTANT
POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS 1. Provide as
much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent
records, participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in
recent major tournaments, etc. 2. Please
advise us of the structure of competitive leagues in your state organization. Feel free to attach a clarifying statement. 3. The
requested information is usually as important for flighting
and scheduling purposes as it is for acceptance, so
do provide the information carefully. 4. The
tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials
and club officials to confirm and obtain additional information about
applicants. |
