Note:  Registrations at 11v11 and at 8v8 for U11 teams.

                       

 

Who:               Applications are invited from duly registered Boys and Girls teams.  Passes from all national governing bodies accepted. The Tournament Committee has authorized a maximum of five guest players.  There will be no exceptions to team and player requirements.  

Awards:         Awards for Champions and Finalists in all age brackets

 

To Enter:        Complete the online application entry form accessed from the Tournament Homepage. Please pay online by eCheck or credit card with the application.

 

                        $685 for U11 through U19 teams

                        $525 for Small-Sided 8v8 teams at U11 through U9

                        

                             To complete online application, payment must accompany application. Acceptances will not be processed until payment is received and deposited. (Note: "Acceptance of Application" indicates that the team has been forwarded to Committee for consideration; this is separate from "Acceptance into Event".)
Payment must be processed by eCheck or by Credit Card.

                                A) IF PAYING BY CREDIT CARD, A 4.0% CONVENIENCE CHARGE WILL BE ADDED TO THE ENTRY FEE.

                                B) There are NO additional charges to use an eCheck.
(For those unfamiliar with processing eChecks, there is basically no difference between mailing a check in or entering the information off that same check into the online application payment page.)

Application Deadline:           Entry should be received by May 25, 2012. Payment must be completed as part of the application process.

 

Lodging:     This is a "stay-to-play" event. If your team will not be "day-tripping", it must arrange lodging through Titan Lodging LLC. Contact Travel Coordinator Alan at alan@titanlodging.com. (Titan Lodging has reserved rooms for MAPS & MSSL events throughout the year, including dates when housing is in short supply. If these rooms are not consistently utilized, we will not have the cooperation of the hotels when we most need them. So we appreciate your cooperation with this required policy.)

 

General Information:    The Pocono Cup is designed for competitive club teams, summer academies and league select teams.

 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE.

 

Weather and other uncontrollable conditions:    

In the event of modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on format change and the amount of refund, if any, is final.

 

 

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS

 

1.     Provide as much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent records, participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in recent major tournaments, etc. 

 

2.     Please advise us of the structure of competitive leagues in your state organization.  Feel free to attach a clarifying statement.

 

3.     The requested information is usually as important for flighting and scheduling purposes as it is for acceptance, so do provide the information carefully.

 

4.     The tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials and club officials to confirm and obtain additional information about applicants.
