The league championship MSSL Cup will be decided on Sunday July 20. 
Teams that want to be considered for participation must declare themselves available by email to MSSLsoccer@aol.com by July 12.
Six top teams as of July 13 will be invited to participate in a one day showdown: two group games and a final.
PROCEDURE:
· Teams play their regular season scheduled games
· Rosters are frozen as of July 3 for MSSL Cup purposes 
· Teams declare whether they want to be considered for the U20 Mens or the U23 Mens or the U23 Womens MSSL Cup by July 12
· Among the declarants, six teams are picked in each division. Top four point totals (3 for win, 1 for tie) after games of July 8 qualify, 
plus two additional "Commissioner's Picks" (allowing some discretion to include teams 
that showed well in fewer games, or against tougher/older competition, etc.)
· U20 MSSL Cup participants can utilize up to three overage (U23) players that were on their roster as of July 3
(unlike the the U20 Regional Cup which permits NO overage players)
· No overage players allowed for the U23 MSSL Cup
· Teams selected for MSSL Cup play must fax their Player Pool Roster of 22 eligible players to 732-940-5597 by July 16 
All Players on Player Pool Roster must have been registered to their team by July 3. 
All U23 MSSL Cup players must have been born on or after August 1, 1984.
All U20 MSSL Cup players must have been born on or after August 1, 1987 (plus three permissable U23 players).
· Fees for MSSL Cup 2007 will be collected at registration. $200 covers ref fees for group games and finals plus field fees.  
· Teams must register one hour before their first game. Teams must pay fees and produce passes for all players on their Roster Pool.
· Before each game, teams will provide referee with 18 Player Game Roster from Pool. No more than 18 uniformed players may occupy sideline.
· Teams are divided into three-team groups and play two group games. Winners of the two groups meet in a final.
· Group play tie-breakers: Head-to-head in a two-way tie; total goal differential; goals scored; goals allowed; PKs.
· Final game tie-breakers: One ten-minute overtimeto completion. PKs.
Note: Teams not qualifying for MSSL Cup will still be scheduled for regular season games on July 20, as well as all teams on the following weekend of July 27.
